The Terra Nova is the standardized test that the
schools in the Archdiocese of Chicago use. All sections of the test
, including Math and Science, include questions that require a
written answer from the students. These answers were scored on
content, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
As a school we did extremely well on the tests and scored well
above the national midpoint (which is at the 50th percentile). The
graphs below show our student's average performance compared with
the average national performance. For example, under Reading
Objective, Basic Understanding, our students' average performance is
85 compared with the average national performance of 72.
Objectives on which our average local performance exceeds the
average national performance indicate areas of academic strength.
The graphs below are only for 3rd grade. New grades will be
added when they become available.
