It is the goal
and mission of the Holy Name Society to provide both financial and
advisory leadership towards the betterment of our school and parish.
The Holy Name Society has an active member on the School Board to assist
in carrying out of our school policies. Through its many functions
and events, the Holy Name Society raises funds necessary for the
operation of the school and parish and promotes "parish-wide"
participation to help strengthen family interaction and values within
our faith community.
The scope of the Holy Name Society's activities is vast and includes the
following: sponsoring men's basketball, volleyball and co-ed
summer volleyball leagues; annual men's golf tournament; Italian Night
Gala; HNS Grand Raffle; St. Patrick's Day Dinner Party; various family
night parities; parish improvement projects; and other parish-wide
social gathering. In addition, the Holy Name Society has recently
started it's own web page to better communicate with its
members and promote its many activities. The HNS also works with
our Pastor and other parish ministries to assist as needed.
The Holy Name Society does not have scheduled member meetings rather
communicates with its members through mailings and via its new web page.
